Monster Dash 5K Ribbon Run

The Monster Dash 5K Ribbon Run begins at the Beaumont Civic Center, 701 Main St. in Beaumont, Texas. The race morning, set for October, features a 9:00 AM 5K run/walk. The event area requires early street closures, followed by a Survivor Parade, a Kickoff Ceremony, a Kiddie Zone, and a Wellness Village prior to the 5K start. This is a casual community race where participants can run, walk, or stroll in costume. Teams are welcome to register together. The registration fee is $35, with survivors and children aged 6 and under participating at no cost. The event supports Gift of Life, a Southeast Texas nonprofit established over 30 years ago to enhance cancer outcomes and lessen health disparities. Team fundraising. Groups establish online goals, conduct small fundraisers, and participate with custom shirts, signs, and survivor tributes. Funds generated remain in Southeast Texas, supporting screenings, education, and compassionate care. This includes providing free breast health services annually to approximately 1,500 underserved women. The 5K utilizes chip timing for accurate runner results and live finish-line data, while still offering a supportive, low-pressure morning for walkers.
