Mount Marathon Race 2026

The 98th Mount Marathon Race is a community event in Seward, known as "the toughest 5K on the planet". This trail race challenges participants to ascend and descend Mount Marathon. The course requires men and women to run the entire mountain. Juniors run a significant portion halfway up. This race is set in the mountain's rugged terrain and is celebrated by the Seward community.
