Muncy Monster Dash 5k 2026

The Muncy Monster Dash 5K begins at Ward L. Myers Elementary School in Muncy, Pennsylvania, guiding participants around the historic town. This yearly school fundraiser, organized by the Organization of Parents and Teachers, features a timed 5K, an untimed 5K, and a Kids 1 Mile Fun Run. The 5K commences in the morning, with timed runners starting first, followed by the untimed field. Strollers are permitted in the 5K, but pets are not. Route guides will be posted along the course. The children's race is primarily for students aged 12 and under. It includes optional obstacles on the one-mile course, and parents may accompany children requiring assistance. Costumes and Monster Dash shirts are encouraged, aligning with the event's Halloween theme. Proceeds from the race benefit Ward L. Myers Elementary programs and supplies, such as field trips, school shirts, dances, holiday art prizes, assemblies, field day, and end-of-year activities. Falcon Race Timing manages the results for the timed 5K. Prizes include cash for the top adult male and female finishers, pizza gift cards for adult age-group winners, and Hooplas gift cards for top youth runners.
