Nolan Davidson Champions Run

The Nolan Davidson Champions Run begins and ends at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, offering 5K, 10K, and 1.10-mile race distances. This event welcomes families and accommodates various ability levels, allowing runners, walkers, and those with strollers to participate together on race day. The course circles the Kansas Speedway, placing the event within a sports-focused environment that aligns with Nolan Davidson's competitive spirit. The run commemorates Nolan, whose name signifies "champion," following his death from injuries sustained in a drunk-driving incident. Funds raised benefit KC Fusion Soccer Club youth scholarship programs, linking the event to one of Nolan's significant passions and enabling more young athletes to engage in soccer. Participants receive a race T-shirt, and all finishers are awarded a custom medal.
