About this race
Pacific Breeze begins and ends at Surfers Point in Seaside Park, Ventura, California, offering 5K, 10K, 15K, and half marathon distances along the beach path. The event commences early in the morning and is structured as a relaxed run or walk, not a closed-road race. Participants will share the path with other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists. The half marathon has a 3-hour, 15-minute time limit, with an option for an earlier start for those requiring additional time.
The shorter races follow a straightforward out-and-back format: a single 5K loop for the 5K, two loops for the 10K, and three for the 15K. The half marathon consists of three 4.36-mile loops. It initially heads south, similar to the shorter races, before passing the start-finish area and continuing north to a second turnaround. The course is marked with cones, chalk, and signs. Aid stations are located at the turnaround points and the start-finish area, providing water, Gatorade, and Gu gels. Registration covers a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, complimentary photos and videos, snacks, samples, and race results posted online within 12 to 24 hours.
