About this race
The city's only short-distance trail race features actual trail running on hiking trails, not bridle paths or gravel roads. The course winds through naturally carved 'knob and kettle' terrain, exploring a 100-year-old pine grove and the longest continuous oak forest in Queens. It's a great introduction to trail racing or a chance for veterans to PR a challenging course. Dogs with respectful and responsible owners are welcome. Pinky’s Rock n Rolla is dedicated to Pinky the Pacer, a dog who completed thousands of miles on these trails.
