About this race
The Queen City Crown is a two-half-marathon series in Helena, Montana. To complete the series, runners must run both the Governor's Cup Half Marathon and the Just for the Helena of It Half Marathon within the same calendar year. Participation in the series is free, though each individual race requires its own registration and fee.
Finisher times are combined from the two races to determine series results, with prize money awarded to the top three male and female participants. First place receives $100, and second and third place each receive $50. Following the Just for the Helena of It race, all Queen City Crown finishers are included in a random drawing for non-cash prizes. This structure offers incentives for both elite runners and regular participants.
