About this race
On a working cattle ranch in the Texas Hill Country, Ragnar Trail Texas Hill Country sends relay teams onto the trails at Flat Rock Ranch in Comfort, about an hour from San Antonio. The race is held in October and uses the Ragnar trail format: teams camp together, then runners rotate through trail loops over two days and one night.
The full team race covers 121 miles, with standard teams of eight and ultra teams of four; a one-day Trail Sprint option is offered on the same weekend for teams that want the trails without the overnight relay.
