About this race
Rock Bridge Revenge is a small trail race held at Rock Bridge State Park in Columbia, Missouri. Race headquarters are at the Billy Gilbert Shelter on Missouri 163. Participants can select between 25K and 50K distances; the 50K begins earlier in the morning. The field is limited to 150 runners across both events, creating a local trail gathering atmosphere rather than a large festival race. The race features chip timing, aid stations, an eight-hour cutoff, no race-day registration, and a cup-free format requiring runners to provide their own hydration vessels at aid stops.
The course is almost entirely single track, offering varied terrain and creek crossings. The 25K route incorporates the Devil’s Ice Box Trails, crosses Highway 163, and then continues onto another trail loop. The 50K covers this course twice. Aid stations are positioned approximately every four miles, with three for the 25K and six for the 50K. Runners in the 50K have the option to leave a drop bag at the start. Lunch is provided post-race, aligning with the event's understated club-trail character.
