ROCKAWAY BEACH SANTA SUIT OR SANTS T-SHIRT /GRINCH FUN RUN/WALK & 5k

Runners gather on the Rockaway Beach boardwalk at Beach 108 Street for a 10:00 a.m. holiday 5K run/walk. A 1-mile walk option is available for those preferring a shorter distance. Check-in, late registration, and Santa suit pick-up occur at Healy's Pub on Rockaway Beach Drive prior to the race. The entry fee provides a Santa suit or Santa T-shirt, a finisher medal, and one complimentary beer. Costumes are as central to the event as running pace. Children under 12 participate at a reduced rate. Participants can purchase a Grinch mask and gloves to enhance their costume, with 50 sets available.
