About this race
Run, walk, or roll through Arthurdale's historic district, featuring original New Deal homesteads. This community event honors the vision of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and homestead life for families. For 40 years, Arthurdale Heritage has worked to preserve the history of the nation's first New Deal Homestead Community, established under the Roosevelt Administration.
This event welcomes all ages to explore the historic grounds, with a Kids Race for those 10 and under where every participant receives a medal. A unique tradition allows participants to run and play with our goats, creating a memorable day for beginners and experienced runners alike.
