Run for the Schools 2026

Run for the Schools is an annual Sunday race held in September in Falls Church City, Virginia. The streets fill with runners, walkers, and families with strollers. The Falls Church Education Foundation organizes the event, with proceeds supporting Falls Church City Public Schools, including teachers, classrooms, and school programs. The event attracts over 850 participants, giving it the feel of a local school-community run rather than a small club race. The route features a turn into Great Falls.
