Run Key West Sunset Run

Old Town and the waterfront form the core of this 37th Annual Hemingway-themed run, with runners and fitness walkers traversing historic streets in the long shadow of Papa’s sporting lifestyle. The Run Key West Sunset Run possesses the unique charm of a race that is the “longest-running race in Key West,” yet still accommodates rum, sweat, and literary moustache energy. The course guides participants through “Race through Key West’s historic Old Town and scenic waterfront,” anticipating pavement, salt air, and the end-of-day atmosphere that makes a sunset start feel relaxed. Beer Mile participants have their own Sunday event with the Beach N’ Beer Mile, where they “test their speed and endurance in this spirited challenge,” all part of Hemingway Days, an event honoring the life and work of the legendary author.
