Run with the Nuns 2026

Run with the Nuns is a 5K held at Mount Assisi in Lemont, Illinois. Race-day activities are centered at the Mount Assisi campus on Main Street. The Mount Assisi Academy Alumni Association sponsors the event. Runners may also participate virtually if unable to attend in person. Walkers are welcome, making the event suitable for families and casual participants, as well as those aiming to run the full distance. The course winds through Mount Assisi's natural hills and passes the Mount Assisi Convent. The terrain shifts from asphalt to grass. All participants receive a medal and a dry-fit shirt. Children 12 and under can register at a reduced fee when running or walking with a parent. Proceeds benefit the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King and the Mount Assisi Ministry, directly supporting the community hosting the race.
