About this race

This annual run takes advantage of the Mendocino Coast. The course begins in a conifer forest off Highway 1, follows the bluffs, and winds back into the pine and cypress forest. It takes place on the Point Arena-Stornetta Unit of the California Coastal National Monument. Your participation supports ACORN Partners in Education’s environmental stewardship program, Students Protecting the Coast, which engages youth in hands-on learning with a focus on conservation. Hikers are welcome. You'll receive an organic cotton t-shirt and snacks, with hand-made award medallions from Point Arena Tileworks for category winners.
