About this race
This event honors Sam Pearson, a Piqua High graduate and soldier who paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our freedoms. It supports PHS seniors with scholarship funds, helping further their education. The number of scholarships has increased year over year. The course starts and finishes on the bike path at Lock Nine, along the Miami River.
