Serenity on the Trails 2026

Serenity on the Trails directs runners onto four miles of single-track trail within Schenectady Central Park in Schenectady, New York. It operates on an open time-trial format: participants start their timed lap anytime between 8 and 10 a.m., with the course concluding at 11. This structure suits individuals who prefer to run, walk, or offer support without a single mass start. The course consists of a compact park trail loop, emphasizing narrow dirt paths over wide road running. All funds raised benefit Hive of Hope, a community group aiding recovery. The race commemorates Ellen Wisnoski, who passed away after battling addiction. Its objective directly supports helping others find hope and healing, welcoming competitive runners, casual trail runners, walkers, and those participating for Ellen’s cause.
