Sleigh that 5k

Sleigh that 5k is an annual holiday-season 5k held at Green Lake Park in Seattle, on the east side of the Green Lake Community Center. It begins in the morning and embraces its theme: participants are encouraged to wear ugly sweaters, bring companions, and approach it as a casual pre-turkey run instead of a competitive event. Participants receive a custom wooden medal crafted by Ridgeway Woodworks, a company that utilizes reclaimed wood for many items and diverts most of its wood material from landfills. The race package also includes a long sleeve shirt, professional race photos, finish-line treats, photo backdrops, and a Santa hat for those who register early.
