About this race
Southeastern North Carolina middle schoolers have three fall cross country races at Long Leaf Park in Wilmington, each covering 2 miles. This series is designed for developing athletes needing consistent competition, not just a single event. It welcomes public schools, private schools, clubs, teams, and unattached runners.
Each race includes JV, varsity girls, and varsity boys divisions. JV boys and girls run together unless the number of participants requires a split. Varsity teams may enter up to 15 runners. Pierre Timing manages the results, and Without Limits organizes the events. The top 10 boys, top 10 girls, and the top two teams at each meet receive awards, allowing runners to aim for individual recognition while teams monitor their progress throughout the brief fall season.
