About this race
The Spooky Sprint 5K is a Halloween-themed race in the St. Louis area, part of an annual event with distances for various ages and goals. The offerings include a Kids Dash, untimed 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Virtual Race, and a Volunteer then Run option. This allows families to bring children while more serious runners still get timed racing. The in-person races begin in the morning after packet pickup, with the Kids Dash starting just before the main race begins.
The 5K uses chip timing with live results, awards, free participant photos, and finish-line snacks. Registration includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The 1 Mile offers the same items but without timing. The Kids Dash is a short untimed run for younger children, and youth pricing is available for the 5K and 10K. The event is also part of a fall race series with Golden Harvest and Turkey Trails, providing local runners a seasonal run of St. Louis races from early fall through Thanksgiving.
