About this race

Camp Eagle, the "adventure capital of Texas," anchors the Tejas Dirt Festival, a race with significant old trail-racing history. Formerly the J&J, it occupies a "huge chunk of Tejas Trails history." The event feels more like a large off-road gathering focused on dirt, effort, and some disorder than a polished road-race production. Runners will find technical trails and scenic views across "1400 acres of fun." They will share the weekend with rucking racers, mountain bike racers, and biathlon racers. Friends and family have amenities including lodging, a dining hall, coffee, a spring-fed river, and additional contests "in the water and the sky." It resembles a trail sports event where the finish line is not the sole draw for attendees.
