The Backass Jackal Trail Marathon 2026

The Backass Jackal Trail Marathon is the wooded-trail event in the Jackal marathon series held in and around Jackson, Tennessee. The races are organized as the “5 Jackal Marathons in 5 Days Series,” featuring a mid-June event with marathon and half-marathon distances that combine dirt, woods, pavement, and repeated loops. The Native Jackal uses wooded trail with some asphalt and more elevation gain than typically found in West Tennessee.
