The Classic at Mastick

The Classic at Mastick is an evening running meet at South Mastick Picnic Area, featuring separate men's and women's 5Ks and a 2-mile race for younger runners preceding them. It takes place annually to start cross-country season, and is open to all ages and abilities. The evening begins with packet pickup and the youth 2-miler, followed by the men's 5K, then the women's 5K, with awards presented after the races. The event has been held since 1992 and has contributed over $320,000 to high school seniors; packet pickup is individual, with no team pickup, and pre-race pickup is available at Second Sole in Lakewood.
