About this race
This adventure traces the historic Butterfield Overland Mail Route, challenging you to go The Distance. Like stagecoaches of old, you'll connect remote outposts, battle the elements, and rely on grit. Over 300 miles of Texas history traverse the Red River escarpments, the Cross Timbers, and Jacksboro ranch lands. You'll hit Bugscuffle, climb High Point, and ride the remote roads of Cundiff. The surface is a mix of fast hardpack, chunky B-roads, and forgotten county lanes. A Floating Relay Station provides support for mechanical triage and morale. This is for Club Spinistry members only, requiring a GPS and night lights.
