About this race
The Great Mamba Hike is a supported hiking event in Shelby Farms Park, offering 10-mile, 20-mile, and 26.2-mile routes. It takes place in November, providing participants with a choice between a shorter park challenge, a longer endurance day, or a full marathon-distance hike.
The course features aid stations, meaning participants do not need to approach it as a self-supported trek. All finishers will receive a medal, and entrants also get a long-sleeve T-shirt. As this is the first edition, the event is still establishing its traditions.
