The GREAT SNAKE RIVER Triathlon 2026

The Great Snake River Triathlon takes place at Snake River Landing in downtown Idaho Falls, beginning on Pier View Drive near the Snake River. Tri Peaks Epic Events organizes the race, offering participants a sprint triathlon, Olympic triathlon, youth versions of both distances, sprint and Olympic duathlon, and 5K and 10K runs. The swim leg utilizes the Snake River current, assisting athletes before the bike and run portions. Participants come from Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming, Montana, and other regions, with over 200 expected. Previously known as the Great Snake River Triathlon, it is now the Great Snake River Multi-Sport Event and Tri Peaks Epic Events' largest summer race.
