The Hare and Tortoise 8K/5K Run Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run

The 17th Annual Memorial Run supports Ovarian Cancer screening, treatment, and education for uninsured and under-insured women. Held in memory of Karene O’Hare and Bitsy Whitten, funds contribute to a permanent income source for this cause. The course follows the Capital Trail, with music, food, and complimentary beer afterward. This year also honors the legacy of John O’Hare, founder of The Hare and Tortoise.
