About this race
The Harvest of Hope 5K is a Thanksgiving Day turkey trot in Denver’s Stapleton neighborhood, centered on Central Park in northeast Denver. The main event is a professionally timed 5K on a USATF-certified course, suitable for runners seeking an official result within a family holiday run atmosphere. Younger children can participate in a separate Kids 1K Fun Run.
The 5K utilizes Central Park’s paths, offering a neighborhood-park setting instead of a downtown street route. This race was the first organized and timed Thanksgiving Day event in Northeast Denver. Registration provides a race shirt, goodie bag, complimentary race-day photos, and a commemorative key-chain medal upon finishing.
