The Jackson River Scenic Trail Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k

The Jackson River Scenic Trail course, tracing an old Chesapeake and Ohio Railway bed, offers a mostly flat, smooth crushed gravel surface with some light hills. You will wind through small communities, cultivated fields, and woodland patches, with wildlife sightings common. Finishers receive a commemorative medal. Unique awards will be given to top performers at the ceremony; awards will not be mailed. Local businesses will provide refreshments, food, and experiences at the finish line.
