The Official Las Cruces Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

The Las Cruces Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot begins Thanksgiving morning at LCPS Field of Dreams on Tashiro Road in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This road race offers three distances: a 10K run, a 5K run, and a 1 Mile FunRun, suitable for families with children, casual walkers, and runners seeking a longer pre-dinner run. The course is closed, and participants aged 14 and under can register without charge. The event is a Las Cruces tradition, backed by the Las Cruces Running Club and organized by runners for runners. Embracing the holiday spirit, costumes are encouraged, the largest team receives a prize, a turkey raffle is included, and bib coupons provide access to snacks, drinks, and a slice of pumpkin pie.
