The Shed Enduro 2026 Volunteer Registration

The Shed Enduro is a mountain bike enduro held at ThorpeWood on Mink Farm Road in Thurmont, Maryland. Racing is organized by category and class from the start hub. Pro/Open riders start first on Sunday morning, followed by Expert age groups, with timing chips distributed at the start. Packet pickup is available throughout the weekend: Friday at Attaboy Brewing, Saturday at the Sprint Race Registration Table, and Sunday at the ThorpeWood Barn. Racers must also view a pre-race video before beginning. The timed stages consist of short, steep downhill runs, not a continuous race. Pro/Open riders tackle six stages, including Green Eggs and Ham to Super Steep, Wayne's, Albatross, Hoe Down, Upper and Little Canaan, and Kublai Kahn to Rocky Creek Bed. The longest listed Pro/Open stage measures 1.53 miles with 883 feet of descent. Expert riders compete on the first three stage names, then race C.P, Upper and Little Canaan, and Lawndry, with Lawndry being 2 miles and 910 feet of descent. The event maintains a local trail-community atmosphere: Attaboy Brewing contributes $1 per beer sold during packet pickup to MORE, camping is offered at ThorpeWood on Saturday night (fires are prohibited), and podiums occur immediately after racing.
