The Shimmy in Shickshinny 1/2 and 1/4 Marathon

Run the Shimmy in Shickshinny, a flat, fast, shaded course on the Susquehanna Warrior Trail. This out-and-back route follows the west bank of the Susquehanna River with only 11 feet of elevation change. The hard-packed dirt and gravel trail is 90% shaded. Strollers are not ideal, and while dogs are allowed on the trail, they are discouraged in the race. Finishers receive a soft race-themed T-shirt and a unique medal.
