About this race
The Tuckahoe 25K is a 15.5-mile trail race in Queen Anne, Maryland, held in late November. It primarily follows unpaved trails, featuring ample single track, some wider horse paths, and terrain that is manageable rather than rocky or highly technical.
The course utilizes a large loop combined with a shorter out-and-back section, including rooty stretches and muddy areas that can reduce pace or leave participants soiled. Three aid stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, gels, sweet and salty snacks, and even churros. Algonquin Ultras Inc and the Centreville Crushers Running Club present the event, catering to both novice trail runners seeking a middle-distance challenge and experienced runners aiming for a fast 25K. The race proceeds in inclement weather, with no pacers, crews, runner dogs, bib transfers, refunds, or deferrals.
