The Wine Run at Sakonnet Vineyard

The Wine Run at Sakonnet Vineyard is a 3-mile trail race held at Sakonnet Vineyard in Little Compton, Rhode Island. All race activities, from check-in to post-race events, take place on the vineyard grounds. The race begins in the afternoon, with bib pickup available earlier in the day. Participants should plan to arrive at least one hour before the start to allow ample time for check-in. The course follows vineyard trails with uneven footing, including rocks, ruts, and typical trail conditions. This makes it a run that requires attention to your footing rather than a fast road race. Runners conclude the race among the vines and then remain for dinner, wine, and music at the vineyard. Each participant is given a souvenir wine glass.
