Titan Takeoff 5k & 1 Mile

The Titan Takeoff 5k & 1 Mile is an evening campus run at Indiana University South Bend, starting and finishing at the Student Activity Center. It is untimed overall, with a 5K for runners and walkers and a Competitive Mile that starts first, uses bibs, and picks its overall winner from finish-line photos. The route loops through the IU South Bend campus on paved paths or roads. Fleet Feet Mishawaka helps host it with the IU South Bend Titans women’s soccer program. The low entry fee plus donations support properly fitted running shoes for the team’s preseason training. Before the races, participants and spectators get games, activities, raffles, one raffle ticket, and carnival tickets, with more tickets available at the event.
