About this race
Tuesday Night Thunder (TNT) is a weeknight criterium bike racing series held in Louisville, Colorado, with races each Tuesday beginning in June. The format features short, fast circuit racing, not a point-to-point road race. The setup is intentionally accessible: riders self-categorize, races are unsanctioned, and organizers strive to keep the night affordable and enjoyable. Women and juniors race without charge, aligning with Sanitas Sports’ objective of using racing to connect riders with local communities.
The TNT course measures 0.6 miles per lap, including 27 feet of climbing each circuit. It is beginner-friendly for a criterium, featuring three wide 90-degree turns instead of numerous tight corners, followed by a long, gradual uphill sweep to the start/finish line. Race numbers are attached to the right side, and registration and parking are managed by Tendeg LLC in Louisville. HUNT Wheels and Louisville Cyclery present the series, contributing to its local bike shop and racer atmosphere over a large event production feel.
