About this race
Tuesday Night Thunder (TNT) is a weeknight criterium bike race series in Louisville, Colorado, with races each Tuesday beginning in June. The format is straightforward: short-lap road racing after work, self-categorized fields, and an unsanctioned structure designed to keep the night affordable and accessible. Registration and parking are located at 1772 Prairie Way Unit A. The series is presented by HUNT Wheels and Louisville Cyclery.
The TNT course is a 0.6-mile loop with 27 feet of climbing per lap, meaning riders encounter the same corners repeatedly at race pace. It features three wide 90-degree turns, followed by a long, gradual uphill sweeper leading to the start-finish line. This layout is suitable for beginners without becoming a procession. Race numbers are worn on the right side. Sanitas Sports focuses its events on linking racers with local communities, and this series aligns with that principle: amateurs, stronger riders, women, juniors, and first-time criterium racers can all find a place within the same Tuesday-night schedule.
