About this race
Newport's sprint triathlon offers fast racing and ocean views. The course starts with a protected swim inside Fort Adams cove beside the SSV Oliver Hazard Perry. You'll then bike along Ocean Drive, featuring rolling terrain and nonstop ocean vistas, before running through Fort Adams State Park and inside the historic fort itself. This race is welcoming to first-time triathletes and seasoned competitors alike, embodying the spirit of coastal New England.
