This event honors the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who ran three miles through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers on 9/11. It remembers 9/11 and honors first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices. Participants can run in firefighter turnout gear or military backpacks.
