Tuscarawas County YMCA Turkey Trot 2026

The Tuscarawas County YMCA Turkey Trot begins at the Y on Monroe Street in Dover, Ohio, at 9:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. This local holiday race has a history: the event is on its 55th edition, and it welcomes serious runners, walkers, families with strollers, and participants with dogs. The participants range from babies to runners in their 90s, making the morning more of a community gathering than a pure competition. Standard awards are given for the top three men and women overall and the top three in each age group. Additional prizes recognize best spirit, costumes, oldest and youngest runners, and best pet costume. Race proceeds benefit the Y’s Annual Campaign, funding memberships, programs, and swim lessons for local children and families.
