About this race

Start steps from historic Fort Cronkhite and the dark sands of Rodeo Beach, then hit steep pitches and downhill sections as the course undulates the Marin Headlands hills and coastline. Get Pacific ocean views from the Coastal trail and Pirates cove, plus glimpses of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge as you traverse the SCA Trail single-track. The Marin Headlands is rich with wildlife; watch for foxes, coyotes, bobcats, or mountain lions. This scenery will make climbs more benign. The 8K allows dogs (start at the back of the pack).
