Victory Races

Victory Races is a Labor Day weekend race series held on Victory Memorial Drive in North Minneapolis. It features a 10K, a 5K, and a kids race, all beginning at Webber Park. The 10K starts in the morning, followed by the 5K and then the kids race. Participants can select a single distance or compete in both the 5K and 10K. The courses are USATF Certified, offering a straightforward, flat, and fast route through the neighborhood. The 10K route begins on Webber Parkway near Colfax, proceeds west on Victory Memorial Drive to the flagpole, turns south on Lowry to a turnaround point, and returns along the same path to finish near Bryant Avenue. The 5K follows a similar out-and-back format from Webber Park to the flagpole. All participants receive a medal, and race entries benefit Minneapolis nonprofits such as Run Minnesota, LifeSource, and Mile in My Shoes. The series also links with the City of Lakes Half Marathon via the Victory Lakes Voyage Challenge. Runners completing the Victory 5K, Victory 10K, and the half marathon earn an additional medal for covering a total of 22.4 miles.
