Waco ISD - Superintendent's SuperHero Run - 5K and 1K 2026

The Waco ISD Superintendent's SuperHero Run is a race held on the Waco High School campus in Waco, Texas. It features a timed 5K and an untimed 1-mile run. Both events begin and end on the Waco High School track at Paul Tyson Field. The 5K starts at 7:00 a.m., followed by the 1-mile race ten minutes later. The course is contained within the Waco High School campus, making it suitable for students, families, walkers, and runners seeking a closed course. Participants are invited to wear costumes of their favorite superheroes. The event accommodates strollers, wagons, and leashed pets. Parking is available on Trice Avenue, North 44th Street, and in campus lots.
