Wayne Provision-Hope on the Move 5K 2026

The Wayne Provision-Hope on the Move 5K is an evening 5K run/walk in Jackson, Tennessee. It begins at 7:00 PM CDT from the Jackson Farmer's Market at 91 New Market Street. This race supports Wayne Provision, a foster care provider focusing on teen boys in DCS custody. The organization aims for local families to understand its services and the trauma faced by youth separated from their families. The course starts and finishes at the Jackson Farmer's Market, passing through the Lambuth campus. Wayne Provision collaborates with Wayne Halfway House to place boys in foster homes after residential care when no family is available, and it also places youth newly entering DCS custody. The organization offers case management, medication management, and counseling, while recruiting and licensing foster homes under state guidelines. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and age-group winners from 14 and under through 60 and over. Race proceeds help provide Christmas for the youth served by the program.
