About this race
The White River Run takes place in June in Anderson, Indiana, utilizing the paved trail system along the White River. Participants can select a 10K or 5K race, with a separate 5K walk option. This event accommodates club runners, casual runners, students, and families. The standard race fee is reasonable, with a reduced rate for students and a discount for Anderson Road Runners Club members.
The course follows shaded river trails, featuring a wood boardwalk, the recently developed riverfront area, and a passage over the Blue Bridge. The Anderson Road Runners Club organizes the race in partnership with Community Hospital Anderson's Community Foundation program, and DINO provides chip timing. As a nonprofit, the club supports running and walking in Madison County and also manages Roady Racers, a free summer running program for children.
