The Will Run for Cannoli 5K concludes with a homemade Sicilian cannolo, hinting at the race's atmosphere. This 3.1-mile family run/walk takes place in summer at Lions Park in Cheyenne, Wyoming, maintaining a small-field character with a cap of 300 participants.
The course begins near the pavilion by the Children’s Village, proceeds east around Sloans Lake, passes under the Central Avenue tunnel, circles the golf course counter-clockwise, re-enters the tunnel, and concludes at the beach after a westward loop around the lake. Participants receive a medal alongside the cannolo, with age-division awards and raffles also offered. Proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Wyoming, and the CyberWyoming Alliance has incorporated the race into its cybersecurity awareness efforts.
