Withlacoochee Forest Trail Marathon 2027

The Withlacoochee Forest Trail Marathon takes place in Florida's Two Mile Prairie Tract near Lecanto, offering marathon, half marathon, and 10K distances. All three distances traverse hiking and equestrian trails on natural, unpaved surfaces. Runners should anticipate sand, roots, uneven footing, and common Florida trail inhabitants: ticks, biting flies, spiders, or snakes. The marathon consists of two 13.1-mile loops, the half marathon is a single loop, and the 10K follows a modified loop course. The route is not certified. All participants are required to carry hydration. Aid stations will provide water, electrolyte drink, soda, pickle juice, chips, fruit, and PB&Js. A1 Ultra Events, directed by Andy and Amy, manages the race and has organized community trail events since 2018.
