Zoom Angel Island 2027

Zoom Angel Island is a trail-and-road race series on Angel Island in San Francisco Bay, offering 5 mile, 10 mile, 15 mile, and kids' options. The kids' race is a free 50-yard dash for children age 6 and younger. The longer races require paid registration and start in the morning, with the 5 mile going first, followed shortly by the 10 mile. The island is hilly, covered with grass and forest, and ringed by roads and trails that provide views toward Marin County, San Francisco, and the Golden Gate. Routes may circle the island and climb Mount Livermore, meaning the day emphasizes island terrain over flat speed. Distances are measured with a Rolatape surveyor's wheel, and the event encourages families to stay afterward for a picnic at Ayala Cove.
