Sirromet Winery provides the setting for Tough Mudder: QLD, with participants arriving less for a neat race and more for "challenging obstacles and teamwork." This is obstacle-course running with the rough edges intact: mud, walls, water, and practical fitness challenges where grip, patience, and a willing teammate are as important as pace.
On course, find "the best obstacles in the business," such as the Mud Mile and the Everest wall, with muddy terrain throughout. The participants are a mix of groups and solo runners, but the aim is that "strangers become teammates" when help is needed. After finishing, participants receive an orange headband, finisher shirt, a drink, and access to Mudder Village with a bar, DJs, and street food.
