The 21K Oficial de Ribeirão Preto Multi begins before sunrise at 5:00 AM from the parking lot of Shopping Santa Úrsula in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. This 21 km road race, limited to 2,000 participants, is promoted as Ribeirão’s fastest half marathon. The event features a very flat route, with approximately 90% of the course on level ground, making it suitable for runners aiming for a fast half marathon and for locals attempting the distance for the first time. The race area is located within Shopping Santa Úrsula, and the route starts on nearby streets like São José, Campos Salles, and Sete de Setembro before proceeding onto larger avenues including Francisco Junqueira, Maurílio Biagi, and Celso Charuri. Aid stations are positioned every four kilometers, with isotonic drinks provided at support points, and finishers receive water and a snack kit. The post-race amenities include a breakfast for participants, an awards ceremony later in the morning, and a unique medal, offering a mall-based start and finish with more organization than a basic out-and-back street run.
